“...an extremely well planned and executed course which I enjoyed immensely. Neil was an extremely capable, approachable and affable instructor - a very reassuring presence. I particularly liked the way that he seamlessly took opportunities for navigation instruction as they spontaneously arose - so that we could directly see the application. This combination of technical skill and sensitivity in application is rare, and I really appreciated it. That and the real coffee produced out of nowhere in the middle of Dartmoor. Overall, I learned so much from the experience in terms of what kit to take, how to make the experience of wild camping as enjoyable as possible, and the importance of navigation skills in the outdoors. I’m afraid I can’t offer any feedback on how to improve this - which is probably the highest praise that I can give...”
